Build Toilets
When we talk about a school’s needs we usually think of lab supplies or books—we assume the school has bathrooms. But the Koumra School does not have this most basic facility. There is a hole in the back of the school that is used as a toilet. Over 1,400 students and staff must use this most rudimentary toilet.
This situation creates very serious health and hygiene issues, especially for the girls of the school.
With a budget of $8,900, eight closed latrines will be built.
